Yes, we do both formal and informal appraisal. We routinely have customers coming in to our store and say “I found this coin. What is it and what is it worth?” Those are considered informal and that is free of charge. For formal written insurance or probate appraisal, there is a fee based on the size of the collection.

Typically we do not go on house calls, however, we have made exceptions based on certain circumstances.
We strongly advise that you bring in your coin collection and jewelry for an over the counter free appraisal. Very often customers come in after inheriting “costume” jewelry from their mother or grandmother thinking that it is not worth anything.
